International Bunkering Acquires Glander International

International Bunkering today announced it has acquired U.S. bunker trading and brokering firm Glander International.

In an emailed press release, International Bunkering said it was "proud and excited" about the development, and from November 1, 2013 will re-brand under a new company, Glander International Bunkering.

"There are significant synergies connecting both companies, and this acquisition will reinforce Glander International Bunkering's global operations. Jointly, the two companies' financial power, heritage and expertise will benefit our customers, through the positive union that this acquisition will bring," said Christoffer Berg Lassen, Managing Director and CEO of Glander International Bunkering.

"Clients will enjoy access to more in-depth knowledge, greater engagement with all major time zones and round-the-clock availability of Glander International Bunkering's expert brokers and traders."

International Bunkering said the new company now offers a substantially enhanced global influence, and has offices strategically located in Dubai, Singapore, Mumbai and Florida.

"Glander International Bunkering is now one of the largest bunker & lubricant trading and brokering firms in the world," it said.
