Following news that Yahoo will end support for its "legacy" Yahoo Messenger, key Caribbean physical bunker supplier Curacao Oil NV (Curoil) says it has chosen to switch to using Skype for Business.

The new IDs, which are active effective from today, are as follows:

Garrick Stomp
Skype ID: g.stomp

Melissa Aniceto
Skype ID: melissa.aniceto11

As Ship & Bunker previously reported, Yahoo Inc. (Yahoo) last month announced that from August 5, 2016, it will no longer support its "legacy" Yahoo Messenger platform, instead replacing it with a "new" Yahoo Messenger that does not appear to meet the compliance needs of the bunker industry.

A Ship & Bunker poll responded to by over 500 readers suggests that as a result, Skype and WhatsApp will now be the industry's messengers of choice.
