OW Bunker Names Physical Division VP
OW Bunker has appointed its former global sales director, Søren Christian Meyer, as vice president of its physical division in its effort to grow its physical supply operation, the company said in an emailed statement.
"As a company, we have invested heavily in developing our supply fleet, expanding our global coverage and in implementing measures to ensure that we provide our customers with the best service and the highest quality products possible," said Jane Dahl Christensen, executive vice president for the physical division.
"Søren's appointment further strengthens our physical division.
"And as we continue to grow, his knowledge of the market, and understanding of the challenges that ship owners and operators face in a continually changing industry, will play an important part in ensuring we meet the needs of our customers as well as realising our divisional objectives going forward."
Meyer is now part of the company's physical division leadership team, along with Christensen and vice president Jan Christensen.
OW Bunker has said it is working to boost its physical operations, including in North America and Singapore.
