Cockett Marine Oil Formally Establishes Liaison Office in India
Cockett Marine Oil Group (CMO) today has announced in an emailed statement it has formally established a Liaison Office in India, and secured new office premises in Mumbai.
Mr Nikharv Shah, who joined the Group in June 2015 as Head of Marketing & Supply – India Region, has increased the team to include Nemish Jose and Ravi Prakash, who are responsible for the Group's activities in India and the larger Indian Sub-Continent.
Ship & Bunker notes that Jose and Prakash, who both joined CMO in 2015, have several years of industry experience in India's bunker markets.
"The Liaison Office status and new premises demonstrates our commitment to India's marine fuel oil market as well as the continuation of the Group's growth plans," said Cem Saral, Group Chief Operating Officer for the Cockett Marine Oil.
Karl Beeson, Group Chief Executive Officer of Cockett Marine Oil further added: "India is a very strategic location and offers tremendous opportunities for the Group.''
