Small Gains for IFO Bunker Prices in Asia

Bunker prices in Asia saw mostly small upward movements for IFO product on Tuesday, Ship & Bunker data showed, while distillates in the region made small-to-moderate losses.

Singapore IFO380 moved up $1.00 to $598.50 per metric tonne (pmt), a week-on-week loss of $6.00, and down $2.00 from last month. Low sulfur 380 cSt product (LS380) climbed $3.50 to $681.00 making the premium for the Emissions Control Area (ECA) compliant fuel $82.50 pmt. MGO in Singapore dropped for a sixth consecutive market day down $6.00 to $922.00 pmt, falling $23.50 from last Tuesday's price.

Busan IFO380 was down for a third consecutive market day falling $1.50 to $643.50 pmt, a weekly change of $-1.50, and a monthly change of $-10.50. LS380 dropped $1.00 to $796.00 making the premium for the low sulfur product $152.50 pmt. MGO in the port slipped for a fifth consecutive market day down $7.00 to $957.50 pmt, dropping $15.50 week-on-week.

Hong Kong IFO380 was steady at $614.00 pmt, slipping $4.00 from last Tuesday's price, and up $7.00 from November 12, 2012. MGO fell for a sixth consecutive market day down $5.00 to $948.50 pmt, a week-on-week change of $-19.00, and a month-on-month change of just $0.50.

Tokyo IFO380 was up $0.50 to $647.00 pmt, falling $11.00 since last Tuesday, and down $15.50 from the previous month. MDO fell for a third consecutive market day slipping $5.00 to $944.00 pmt, down $17.00 week-on-week.
