Bunker Prices Soften Again on Tuesday

Bunker prices softened again on Tuesday after some key markets saw gains at the start of the week. 

After Monday's double-digit gain Singapore's IFO380 moved down $11.50 to $596.00 per metric tonne (pmt), while Hong Kong's IFO380 also dropped double-digits shedding $10.50 to $609.50.

As per Monday, Taiwan's Kaohsiung once again moved in the opposite direction, with IF380 moving up $15.50 to $644.00.

In Northern Europe, Rotterdam's IFO380 dropped $9.00 moving the price to $572.00 pmt while Gothenburg's 380 cSt product moved down $6.00 to $594.00.

Further South Piraeus saw some gains with IFO380 moving up $2.50, bringing the price to $604.50 pmt.

Houston saw IFO380 soften with the price moving down $4.50 to $578.00, and New York had a second day of gains for this week with IFO380 edging up $1.50 to $593.50.

On the West coast of the U.S., LA / Long Beach saw IF380 move down $3.50 to $605.50.

Crude firmed with WTI moving up $0.62 closing at $83.32.
