Biofuel Supplier GoodFuels Signs Digitalisation Deal
Biofuel bunker supplier GoodFuels has signed a deal seeking to digitalise its operations to demonstrate the environmental credentials of its products.
The firm has launched a project with software provider Circularise on the digitalisation of the biofuels record management process required for RED II compliance, the two companies said in an emailed statement on Tuesday.
Under the deal Circularise will seek to expand its MassBalancer traceability software suite to include the biofuels supply chain, adding ISCC EU certification as an additional framework.
"Transparency and trust are critical to the supply chains of all marine fuels, but especially biofuels, where we must be able to demonstrate our sustainability claims easily and with confidence," Paul Bakker, digital development manager at Circularise, said in the statement.
"Through our GoodFuels brand, we are dedicated to leading sustainability within the biofuels market, which is why we are pleased to be able to support Circularise to improve the digital reporting process."
