More Gains for Global Bunker Prices on Wednesday
Wednesday Ship & Bunker price data shows global bunker prices were generally on the up today, but movements tended to be small as crude fell back for the first time since Thursday.
Singapore IFO380 gained $5.50 per metric tonne (pmt) to put the price at $652.50, with MGO making an $11.50 gain to $961.00 pmt.
Hong Kong IFO380 advanced for a forth consecutive market day, up $4.50 to $663.50, while MGO saw a gain of $7.50 to $958.50 pmt.
Rotterdam 380 cSt product saw a third day of increasing prices by adding $8.00 on yesterday's price of $626.50 to move to $634.50, with MGO rising $12.00 to $940.50.
It was a sixth consecutive day of gains for IFO380 in Fujairah, a gain of $2.00 to $659.50 making it a week on week gain of $15.00, while MGO softened dropping $2.50 to $1009.00.
Houston IFO380 climbed for a fourth consecutive market day gaining $4.00 to $633.50, ECA compliant 1.00% maximum sulfur 380 cSt product (LS380) was down $1.00 to $741.00 putting the high sulfur / low sulfur spread at $107.50 in the port, and MGO gained $4.50 to $986.50 pmt.
LA / Long Beach IFO380, which hasn't dropped in price since $611.00 on July 27, 2012, jumped $22.50 today to $662.50, while LS380 gained $20.00 to $910.00.
The WTI spot price dropped $0.32 to $93.35 per barrel.
