OW Bunker Opens Office in Taiwan
Independent marine fuel supplier OW Bunker has opened a new representative office in Taipei, Taiwan, the company has announced in a press release.
The Wrist Group member's new operation will be managed by Mr. Victor Huang, with OW Bunker saying he will be joining the group from his previous position with NYK Taiwan, the Taiwanese branch of Japanese shipping firm NYK Line.
Huang has been appointed Liaison Officer and will work in coordination with OW Bunker's existing team based at the Group's regional sales centre in Singapore.
In the statement, Götz Lehsten, Executive Vice President of OW Bunker said, "We have a long and successful history in Taiwan and have built very close relationships with local customers over the past 20 years. Responding to the developing needs of our customers has been central to this success and we felt it was important to ensure that we had a local liaison office dedicated to meeting their requirements."
"Through our local office we are able to work more closely with our customers in the region. We can ensure that they can have access to quality products and services, and a complete bunker solution that is right for their business needs, " he added.
