Change of Management in Singapore for Global Risk Management
Global Risk Management has announced in an emailed press release that Adam Hashidy has joined its team in Singapore, and will take over as the branch's new General Manager from July 15, 2013.
Hashidy joins the company after 6 years as Vice President, Asia Energy Marketing, at commodity trading house Mitsui Commodity Risk Management, where his main tasks were to advise and sell oil risk management solutions to ship-owners, refineries, trading houses, and airlines.
Prior to the position as Vice President, Hashidy was said to have spent many years in the oil and gas trading industry.
He will replace Sales Director Morten Henriksen who, after a transitional period, will return to the company's head office in Middelfart, Denmark during the month of August.
Global Risk Management said Henriksen started up the Singapore Branch almost five years ago, and the office has expanded considerably since then.
"Morten has played a big part in making the office a success with his ambitions and excellent business skills," said Hans Erik Christensen, Managing Director of Global Risk Management.
"Together with colleagues, he has built up a solid client portfolio for the office."
Even though the day-to-day business management will be taken over by Hashidy, Global Risk Management said Henriksen will still be in close contact with Asian as well as European clients and with the Singapore Branch.
"I have great expectations to Adam and I am certain that - together with experienced colleagues - he will contribute to the continued success of the office in Singapore," said Christensen.
"I also look forward to having Morten Henriksen back in our office in Denmark. I know he will continue his endeavours to expand knowledge of our products and services."
