The CPC Corporation Monday announced that the company's bunker barge Chung Yu No.9 in Keelung, Taiwan has resumed operations following an almost two month stoppage for annual maintenance.

The company notes that Chung Yu No.9 is currently supplying only fuel oil, but will resume gas oil supply on April 15, 2016.

Barge operations have been suspended since February 16, the company has said, having expected maintenance work to persist until the end of April.

CPC Corporation has said that only one other barge was available during the Chung Yu No.9's suspension in service, the Chung Yu No.10, which has a 700 metric tonne (mt) capacity for fuel oil, and a 95 mt capacity for gas oil.

In December, Ship & Bunker reported that CPC Corporation had awarded TRIYARDS a $21.82 million contract for the construction of two bunker barges.
