A 2011-built Panamax bulk carrier was arrested in Singapore last Saturday, according to the latest records from the Supreme Court of Singapore.

Data from VesselsValue.com indicates the 93,300 dwt Ao Hong Ma is managed by COSCO Shanghai and valued at $12.36 million.

She was arrested on January 30, 2016 at 4:23 pm local time following action taken by local law firm Oon & Bazul LLP.

The circumstances surrounding the arrest are currently unknown, but such action is common in cases of payment dispute.

Last month Ship & Bunker reported that for 2015, the total number of ships arrested in Singapore had fallen for the third consecutive year.
