Singapore has a new bunker supplier, AC Oil Pte Ltd (AC Oil), according to the latest information from the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA).

The most recent version of the list of accredited bunker suppliers, correct as at August 5, 2015, indicates AC Oil joins A DOT Marine Pte Ltd and Bunker B Pte Ltd as an MGO only supplier.

However the total number of bunker suppliers has dropped to 59, down from 60 in February.

Lukoil Asia Pacific Pte Ltd, and Raffles Bunkering Pte Ltd no longer appear on the list.

Neither supplier could be contacted this morning for comment, but there has been no specific announcement regarding either company's exit from the Singapore market.

All bunker suppliers operating in the Port of Singapore are required to be licensed by MPA.

The number of suppliers has fallen dramatically in recent years, with as many as 77 suppliers operating in the port in 2012.

In February Hong Fatt Oil Trading Pte Ltd (Hong Fatt Oil Trading) and Tankoil Marine Services Pte Ltd (Tankoil) exited the Singapore market after MPA revoked their bunker supplier and bunker craft operator licences.
