OW Bunker Far East (Singapore) Pte Ltd's  bunker supplier and craft operator licenses have been returned to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), Platts reports.

"The liquidators have confirmed that OW Bunker Far East (Singapore) Pte Ltd is being wound up and has ceased trading, and have returned the company's licenses to MPA," an MPA spokeswoman was quoted as saying.

The supplier's exit, along with last week's cancellation of the the licenses of both Tankoil Marine Services and Hong Fatt Oil Trading, means there are now 60 accredited bunker suppliers in Singapore.

For 2014 OW Bunker Far East (Singapore) Pte Ltd was ranked as the 11th biggest supplier by volume in Singapore, but at the end of the year was forced to wind up its business after the collapse of its parent company.
