Turkish Bunker Supplier Player Claims Mass Flow Meter First

Turkey's CYE Petrol Sunday launched the first of a new series of bunker barges fitted with Emerson Coriolis mass flow meters, maritime news site Virahaber reports.
The company said the mass flow meter installation represents a first for Turkey.
M/T Beykoz-E, built at Kocatepe Yalova Shipyard, promises fuel efficient, environmentally friendly operation, the company said.
CYE Petrol has said the 1,650 deadweight tonne (dwt) double-hull bunker barge and its sister ship, M/T Kalamasis-E, will be followed by a third barge in the second half of the year.
The new barges are the first to have the mass flow meters mounted, and the company said it plans to install them on the rest of its bunker barge fleet in the coming months.
