Strikes Scheduled for Spanish Ports Called Off
Friday February 17, 2017
Spanish port workers have called off planned strike action that was set for later this month, Reuters reports.
As Ship & Bunker reported last week, the International Transport Workers' Federation (ITF) had said that, in response to Spanish government plans to reform the country's port system, Spain's trade unions were set to strike on February 20, 22, and 24.
It was unclear what, if any, impacts would have been felt on the regional bunkering market had the strike action taken place.
