Thursday Bunker Prices Make Small Downward Movements
Many ports saw marine fuel prices fall again on Thursday, with benchmark price ports Singapore, Rotterdam, Fujairah, and Houston all seeing moderate drops in IFO380.
Singapore IFO380 fell $1.50 to $678.50, up $5.50 on last Thursday's price, and MGO lost $3.50 bringing the price to $995.50 per metric tonne (pmt).
Hong Kong saw IFO380 drop $2.50 to $689.50 pmt making a week-on-week gain of $5.50, while MGO slipped $7.00 to $1010.00 pmt.
Rotterdam IFO380 was down $3.50 to $654.50 pmt, 1.00% maximum sulfur 380 cSt product (LS380) fell $0.50 to $723.00, and MGO lost $7.00 to $978.50 pmt.
Fujairah 380 cSt product fell $2.50 to $689.50 for a week-on-week gain of $4.00 pmt, while MGO gained $3.00 to $1040.00 pmt.
Houston IFO380 was down $3.50 to $652.50 pmt, LS380 lost $2.50 bringing the price to $749.00 and MGO slipped $2.00 to $1042.50 pmt.
LA / Long Beach IFO380 moved down for a fourth consecutive market day losing $7.50 to bring the price to $672.00 for a week-on-week loss of $17.00 pmt.
The WTI spot price closed up for a second consecutive day Thursday gaining $0.17 to $95.53 per barrel.
