Thursday Bunker Prices Remain Mixed
The direction of global bunker prices remained uncertain on Thursday, with Ship & Bunker data showing prices for key grade IFO380 dropping in almost as many ports as those that saw gains.
Singapore IFO380 ended four consecutive market day losses and moved up $1.50 to $593.00, while MGO gained $2.00 to put the price at $863.00 per metric tonne (pmt).
Hong Kong saw IFO380 gain $0.50 for a second consecutive day moving the price to $605.50, and MDO fell $2.50 to $874.00 pmt.
Rotterdam 380 cSt product fell $2.50 to $572.50 pmt, while MGO dropped $8.50 moving the price to $861.50.
Fujairah IFO380 ended four consecutive market days of losses moving up $4.00 to $599.50, and MGO gained for a third consecutive day up $0.50 to $994.00.
In Houston IFO380 was steady at $578.50, while MGO moved up for a third consecutive day gaining $1.00 to $911.00 pmt.
LA / Long Beach saw IFO380 make a double-digit gain of $14.00 to $617.00.
Thursday's WTI spot price was up $0.27 bringing the closing price to $86.08 per barrel.
