Bunkers responded to further gains in the price of crude with firming prices today. WTI closed up $2.21 at 93.64 per bbl, a gain of $4.46 over the last two days.

Singapore IFO380 was up $3.00 to $604.50 per metric tonne (pmt), a gain of $6.50 over the last two days. Low sulfur 380 cSt product (LS380) was up $2.50 to $645.50 making the premium for the Emissions Control Area (ECA) compliant fuel $41.00 pmt, while MGO rose $3.50 to $844.50 pmt, up $4.00 over the last two days.

Gains for IFO in Europe were all single figure movements, but were as high as $9.50 for IFO380 in Gothenburg.

Rotterdam IFO380 was up $4.00 to $577.50 pmt, while LS380 rose $6.50 to $592.50 to widen the low sulfur premium to $15.00 pmt. MGO jumped $11.00 to $832.00 pmt for a week-on-week gain of $10.50.

Fujairah IFO380 edged up $1.50 to $608.50 pmt to make the change $+4.00 since this time last week, while MGO climbed $4.50 to $1007.00 pmt keeping the spread at $9.50 over the last two weeks, and a change of $-4.00 in that time.

Houston IFO380 was up $1.50 to return to Tuesday's price of $579.00 pmt, while a gain of $3.50 to $649.00 for LS380 put the grade $9.00 higher than the current low for 2013 set one week ago. MGO moved up $8.50 to $948.50 pmt for a gain of $13.50 so far this week.
