Bunker Prices Climb as Week Ends
As the week came to an end bunker prices continued to climb, with Singapore, Rotterdam and Houston all seeing double-digit gains for IFO380.
Key indicator ports Singapore, Rotterdam, Fujairah and Houston all had slight negative week-on-week price movements for the grade with the biggest percentage loser Rotterdam falling $10.50 (1.69%) and Houston dropping the least down $5.50 (0.88%).
Today, Singapore IFO380 and MGO both moved up $10.00, IFO380 climbed to $627.50 a week-on-week loss of $8.00, and MGO rose to $905.50 per metric tonne (pmt).
Hong Kong saw IFO380 gain $9.50 rising to $646.50 a loss of $2.50 compared to last Friday's price, while MGO moved up $15.50 to $918.50 pmt.
Rotterdam 380 cSt product was up $12.00 to bring the price to $609.50, while MGO climbed $14.00 to $903.00.
In Fujairah IFO380 moved up $10.50 to $636.00 making a week-on-week loss of $6.50, and MGO moved down $1.00 to $1004.00 pmt.
Houston IFO380 gained $8.50 to $617.50, while MGO climbed $6.50 to $953.00 pmt.
LA / Long Beach IFO380 moved down for a second consecutive day losing $2.50 to bring the price to $611.00 pmt.
Friday saw the WTI spot price close the week moving up for a fourth consecutive day gaining $0.74 to close at $90.13 per barrel.
