Bunker prices ended the week with some firming in Europe, but Ship & Bunker data showed prices were mostly soft elsewhere. Overall, ports ended the week with prices higher than they were the previous Friday.

Singapore IFO380 moved down $4.00 to $614.00 per metric tonne (pmt), just $0.50 higher than the previous Friday. Low sulfur 380 cSt product (LS380) climbed $33.50 to $702.00 making the premium for the Emissions Control Area (ECA) compliant fuel $88.00 pmt, MGO was up $5.00 to $869.50 pmt, a gain of $19.50 week-on-week.

Rotterdam IFO380 was steady at $593.50 pmt on Friday for a week-on-week gain of $8.00, while LS380 slipped $2.00 to $615.50 for a gain of $13.00 over the week. MGO climbed $2.50 to $849.50 pmt, $22.50 higher than this time last week.

Fujairah IFO380 made its biggest move of the week on Friday, down $7.00 to $620.50 pmt meaning the grade ended the week $3.00 lower than the price last week. MGO moved down $6.00 to $1004.50 pmt, a week-on-week change of $-8.50.

Houston IFO380 dropped $3.00 to $598.00 pmt for a gain of $6.50 over the week, and LS380 was down $3.50 to $648.00 making the premium for the low sulfur product $50.00 pmt. A gain of $3.50 for MGO at the port meant it ended the week $22.50 higher than the previous Friday at $976.50 pmt.
