Glander International Bunkering Cements Position in India
Glander International Bunkering Group (GIB) Thursday announced it has cemented its presence in India having registered its Mumbai office as Glander International Bunkering (India) Private Limited.
GIB says the change follows "a period of operations as a liaison office in order to understand the local market."
"In order to offer service consistency amongst the group's worldwide offices we have now formed a fully operational office, enabling us to offer comprehensive Bunker and Lubricant trading/brokering services," Christoffer Berg Lassen, Managing Director and CEO of GIB, said of the Mumbai office's new registration.
"We pride ourselves in being able to provide our facilities across all time zones.
"We have dedicated traders who are willing to go the distance to deliver service requests of their clientele in the most efficient and effective manner," Berg Lassen added.
GIB said the Mumbai office will be managed by Ajay Menon, the appointed Managing Director.
The rest of the Mumbai team, as well as all office contact details, will remain the same.
In addition to the office in India, GIB said it has five other offices worldwide, which include Dubai, Singapore, Florida, Brazil, and Geneva.
