OceanConnect Marine (OCM) today announced that effective Tuesday, October 25, 2016, its Singapore-based team members Gilbert Goh, Eric Toh and Sarah Sim Hui Ying have left the company.

"We wish them success in their future endeavors," said Sang In Shim, managing director of OceanConnect Marine.

While OCM did not elaborate on the circumstances surrounding the trio's exit, a source close to the matter told Ship & Bunker that Goh and his team were now heading to Aegean Marine Petroleum Network Inc. [NYSE: ANW] (Aegean).

Goh had been Sales Director at OCM for 4 years, while Toh and Sim had been bunker traders at the firm for almost 4 years and just over five and a half years respectively, according to their LinkedIn profiles.

"Our remaining personnel in Singapore will maintain existing levels of customer service, continuing to offer competitive prices every day with support from OCM's offices worldwide.  In addition, OceanConnect Marine will soon hire new trading personnel to grow our Singapore presence," Shim added.

In addition to Singapore, OceanConnect Marine has offices in Stamford, London, Greece, Dubai, and Seoul. The company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Glencore.

Earlier this week Ship & Bunker reported that former Integr8 Fuels director Daniel Rose this week has joined OCM as Chief Commercial Officer.
