Bunker supplier Geos Group (Geos) this month announced they have begun physical bunker supply in Eastern England and expanded its supply operations in Scotland.

Geos says it is now supplying marine gasoil (MGO) from Great Yarmouth, with access to a total fuel storage capacity of 1,000 tonnes.

The MGO is, at present, available ex-pipe.

"The tanks at Great Yarmouth are conveniently located for offshore support vessels operating off the most easterly part of the UK coastline," said Geos.

The UK bunker player says it has also extended its supply network across Scotland, following an expansion of infrastructure at its physical fuel storage facility in Aberdeen.

"We have had a physical fuel storage facility in Aberdeen for several years, bunkering vessels ex-pipe at Pocra, Clipper, Duthies and Waterloo quays," it said.

"The installation of a new loading arm and ex-rack facility has enabled us to now offer delivery by road to other ports, including Glasgow, Rosyth, Leith, and Greenock."

Last year the group said it was underway with the construction of three new storage tanks at the Port of Blyth in North East England, which have now been hydro-tested.
