Bunker prices in the Americas saw little change as markets lacking direction on Tuesday. IFO380 in Houston and New Orleans saw a third consecutive market day of gains, while the grade in New York and LA / Long Beach was down.
Houston IFO380 moved up $0.50 to $604.50 per metric tonne (pmt) making a loss of $32.50 in the past month, low sulfur 380 cSt product (LS380) was steady at $706.50, and MGO moved up $3.50 to $1001.50 pmt.
New York IFO380 fell $1.50 to $625.50 pmt for a week-on-week gain of $5.50, and MGO slipped $0.50 to $1007.50 pmt adding $3.00 to last week's price.
LA / Long Beach IFO380 was down $8.50 to $671.50 pmt up $9.00 week-on-week and $5.00 over three months, while LS380 fell $9.00 to $747.00 making the premium for the Emissions Control Area (ECA) compliant fuel $75.50 pmt.
New Orleans IFO380 moved up for a third consecutive market day climbing $1.50 to $610.50 pmt up $3.50 on last week's price, LS380 moved up $4.00 to $708.50 losing $31.50 over the past month. MGO at the port was down $6.50 to $1000.50 falling $74.50 in a month.
IFO380 in Balboa and Cristobal, Panama gained $1.00 to $629.00 pmt moving up $5.50 week-on-week, while LS380 fell $5.00 to $775.00 making the premium for the low sulfur fuel $146.00 pmt.
