Little Change for IFO380 in Rotterdam
Ship & Bunker data showed there was little change in bunker prices in the EMEA region today, a drop of $5.00 per metric tonne (pmt) for IFO380 in Reydarfjordur the region's biggest movement for the grade.
Rotterdam IFO380 ended three consecutive market days of small gains and fell $0.50 to $618.50 pmt, up $3.00 week-on-week and a spread of $4.50 in the time. Low sulfur 380 cSt product (LS380) was steady at $652.00 making the premium for the Emissions Control Area (ECA) compliant fuel $33.50 pmt. MGO rose $5.00 to $960.50 pmt, the highest price in almost three months.
Fujairah IFO380 climbed $1.50 to $627.00 pmt, $3.50 higher than last Tuesday, and the highest price since October 29, 2012. MGO in Fujairah slipped $2.50 to $996.50 pmt, down $2.50 week-on-week, and losing $9.50 month-on-month.
Istanbul IFO380 moved up $1.00 to $654.00 pmt, making a loss of $1.50 since this time last week, and $35.00 higher than December 31, 2012. MGO moved down $1.50 to $1023.00 pmt, up $3.00 week-on-week, and an increase of $29.50 since this time last month.
Piraeus IFO380 moved down $0.50 to $639.50 pmt, $0.50 higher than last Tuesday, and up $37.00 since December 31, 2012. LS380 dropped $2.00 to $711.00 making the premium for the low sulfur grade $71.50 pmt. MGO in the port slipped for a second consecutive day falling $1.00 to $992.00 pmt, $1.50 higher than last Tuesday.
