Oil Fades After Choppy Trading

Oil faded a bit by day's end but not before some choppy trading.

Prices followed the volatility experienced in broader equities as markets moved on the special counsel appointed to investigate allegations of Russian ties to President Trump's administration.

There were sure to be some profits taken as the market had been on a steady rally for some time.

Perhaps we are headed even higher, as the oil market is awaiting the outcome of the unofficial meeting in Russia Monday between key oil producing countries.

Bunker prices were somewhat stable in the primary ports.
