Shell Marine Products Continues Global Port Network Expansion
Shell Marine Products (SMP) Wednesday announced that it has expanded to offer its products at more than 70 additional ports and 14 countries in less than a year.
SMP says that its expansion to new ports includes Hatsukaichi, Hibikinada, Iknow, Iyomishima, Naoshima, Ogishima, Onahama, Saganoseki, Shibushi, Tonda, and Tsukumi in Japan, and Boryeong, Taean, and Tongyeong in South Korea, as well as others in Spain, the UK, Taiwan, the UAE, the U.S., Argentina, and India.
"One of our goals as a business is to give our customers peace of mind. We aim to do this via our consistently high quality products, our attentive technical and customer service, as well as making sure our customers can lift the lubricants they need in as many locations as possible," said Jan Toschka, General Manager of Shell Marine Products.
"They continue to be supported by our 24/7 International Customer Service Centre (iCSC) for any of their order delivery concerns as well as track their orders via our industry first Shell Marine Products app on their mobile devices."
In June, SMP warned that selecting an effective lubricant for use with low-sulfur fuels, now a more common practice with the existence of Emission Control Areas (ECAs), is not only about matching base number (BN) to the fuel's sulfur content.
