Gains for Bunker Prices on Thursday
Following a downward trend so far this week, global bunker prices generally made gains on Thursday, with week-on-week prices in many key ports still down compared to last Thursday.
IFO380 prices in Hong Kong, Rotterdam, Fujairah and Houston all ended three consecutive days of losses today.
Singapore IFO380's first gain of the week was $3.50 to $617.50, while MGO ended three consecutive days of losses climbing $6.00 to $895.50 per metric tonne (pmt).
Hong Kong IFO380 gained $7.50 to $637.00 making a week on week gain of $1.50, and MGO remaining steady at $903.50 pmt.
Rotterdam saw IFO380 move up $2.50 to $597.50, down $14.00 on last Thursday's price, while MGO gained for the first time this week climbing $7.50 to $889.00 pmt.
Fujairah IFO380 gained $5.00 to $625.50 making the week-on-week loss $9.50, and MGO moved up for the first time in four consecutive market days, up $8.00 to $1005.00.
Houston 380 cSt product climbed $5.00 to $609.00 putting the price $4.00 lower than last Thursday, while MGO moved up $1.50 to $946.50 pmt.
LA / Long Beach IFO380 dropped $12.50 to bring the price to $613.50 pmt, a week-on-week loss of $3.00.
Thursday's WTI spot price moved up for the third consecutive market day up $0.60 to close at $89.39 per barrel.
