Global bunker prices fell sharply today, with Ship & Bunker data showing double-digit drops in many of the world's key ports.

In Singapore all major grades of fuel were down over $10.00 per metric tonne (pmt), with benchmark grade IFO380 falling $13.50 to $625.00 pmt, the lowest price since early January. Low sulfur 380 cSt product (LS380) moved down $14.00 to $686.50 to hit its lowest price of the year so far. MGO was down $11.00 to $904.50 pmt to keep prices since late March around the same levels as they were in late July last year.

Rotterdam IFO380 was down $14.00 to $603.50 pmt to reverse the gains made over the last week. LS380 moved down $17.50 to $614.50 to narrow the premium for the Emissions Control Area (ECA) compliant fuel to just $11.00 pmt. MGO fell $16.50 to $901.00 pmt.

Fujairah IFO380 was down $8.50 to $631.00 pmt, its third day of falling prices and down $12.00 in that time. MGO moved down $3.50 to $1010.50 pmt, with the product's price down $1.50 with a spread of $30.50 over the last month and trending down.

Houston IFO380 was down $7.00 to $613.50 pmt, and is only $2.00 higher than the lowest price of the year so far. LS380 at the port slipped $3.00 to $686.00, the lowest price in almost 9 months. MGO fell $8.50 to $1006.50 pmt, but the product is still up $10.00 over the last week.
