The Singapore Maritime and Port Authority (MPA) Friday announced changes to its board, with four new additions offsetting three departures.

Three of the new members will join the board as of February 2, 2015, following appointment by Singapore Minister for Tranport, Lui Tuck Yew.

Carl Krogh Arnet, CEO of BW Offshore Ltd; Luke Goh, Senior Director at the Singapore Prime Minister's Office; and Kam Soon Huat, General Secretary and COO for the Singapore Organisation of Seamen, are the incoming board members.

Additionally, Quek Bin Hwee, Vice Chairman at PwC Singapore, will join the board as of April 1.

The new members will serve for a period of three years, with their appointments lasting until February 2018.

Outgoing members are Thomas Tay of the Singapore Maritime Officers' Union, James Wong of the Singapore Prime Minister's Office, and Robert Yap of YCH Group.

Board Chairman Lucien Wong remains in place.

"The MPA Board is responsible for providing strategic direction to help develop and promote Singapore as a premier global hub port and an international maritime centre," said MPA.
