Glander International Bunkering's Longest Serving Team Member Takes the Helm in India
Glander International Bunkering (GIB) Group Wednesday announced Ajay Menon, newly appointed as the Managing Director of GIB's Mumbai office, Glander International Bunkering (India) Private Limited, is also the longest serving employee of the GIB Group.
The company says the leadership change was made "to boost the performance level of the office and contribute to the overall growth strategy of the group".
Menon, a native of Kerala with a MBA from Warwick University, was a Senior Bunker/Lubricant Trader and Team Leader at the GIB Dubai office before his new appointment in Mumbai.
"I would like to congratulate our longest serving team member on this promotion," said Christoffer Berg Lassen, Managing Director and CEO of the Glander International Bunkering Group.
"It has been very well deserved through the hard work, dedication and loyalty that Ajay has given the company in his many years of working here.
