Uncertainty for Americas Bunker Prices
Markets in the Americas were uncertain on Friday, with IFO180 is Los Angeles / Long Beach gaining $12.00 at one end of the spectrum, and Santos IFO380 slipping $7.50 at the other.
Houston IFO380 ended five consecutive days of rising prices and dropped $1.50 to $607.50 per metric tonne (pmt) making a week-on-week gain of $10.00 and a monthly loss of $28.50 pmt. Low sulfur 380 cSt product (LS380) moved down $3.00 to $709.00 also up $10.00 week-on-week, while MGO slipped $2.00 to $992.50 adding $3.50 to last Friday's price.
New York IFO380 moved up for a second consecutive day gaining $4.00 to $632.50 pmt and rising $12.00 since last Friday, down $26.50 in the past three months. MGO dropped $5.50 to $1012.50 pmt moving up $7.00 in three months.
Los Angeles / Long Beach IFO380 was up $11.50 to $684.50 pmt climbing $13.00 since last Friday and down $11.00 over the past month, while LS380 gained $16.50 to $777.50 once again widening the premium for the Emissions Control Area (ECA) compliant fuel, which is now $93.00 pmt.
New Orleans IFO380 moved down for the first time since November 8, 2012 falling $0.50 to $614.00 pmt up $9.50 week-on-week and losing $29.00 in the last months, and MGO dropped $3.50 to $997.00 down $5.50 since last Friday.
Vancouver IFO380 ended three days of consecutive rising prices and fell $1.00 to $634.50 pmt up $11.00 on last Friday's price. MGO slipped $3.50 to $1079.50 finding the same price as last Friday.
