Small Changes for Bunker Prices in the Americas

Bunker prices in the Americas continued to lack direction on Wednesday, with many ports seeing small changes.

Houston IFO380 was up for a fourth consecutive market day climbing $2.00 to $606.50 per metric tonne (pmt) and a week-on-week gain of $11.00, low sulfur 380 cSt product (LS380) climbed $2.50 to $709.00 making the premium for the low sulfur product $102.50 pmt. MGO at the port was down $8.00 moving the price to $993.50 pmt.

New York IFO380 moved down $0.50 to $625.00 pmt making a two week gain of $4.50, and MGO was up $5.50 to $1013.00 pmt making the three month change $25.00 pmt. 

LA / Long Beach IFO380 slipped $3.50 to $668.00 pmt for a three month increase of $3.50, while LS380 moved up $5.00 to $752.00 making the premium for the Emissions Control Area (ECA) compliant fuel $84.00 pmt.

New Orleans IFO380 gained for a fourth consecutive market day up $0.50 to $611.00 and down $29.50 on the past month, while MGO was down $1.50 to $999.00 pmt having fallen $76.00 in a month.

Vancouver IFO380 was up $5.00 to $629.50 gaining $1.50 week-on-week, and LS380 added $4.50 to bring the price to $898.00 pmt making the premium for the low sulfur fuel $268.50.
