Tanker Held in Singapore

A chemical/oil products tanker has been arrested in Singapore.

The 11,616 deadweight tonne ship was detained on Sunday by a local law firm, court records show.

The reasons for the arrest of Jeil Crystal are unclear but are likely to do with disputes over payments for goods and services.

The ship is controlled by South Korean interests, according to shipping database equasis.
