Rotterdam Bunker Prices Down on Friday
EMEA bunker prices ended the week with little overall movement, and Ship & Bunker data showed prices in a number of ports in the region remained flat on Friday.
Rotterdam was one port that did see change today, IFO380 falling for a second consecutive day down $4.00 to $642.00 per metric tonne (pmt), $1.50 lower than last Friday, and up $29.00 month-on-month. Low sulfur 380 cSt product (LS380) slipped $3.00 to $691.00 making the premium for the Emissions Control Area (ECA) compliant fuel $49.00 pmt. MGO was steady at $1002.00 pmt, down $1.00 week-on-week.
Fujairah IFO380 moved down for a second consecutive day falling $1.00 to $661.00 pmt, $7.50 higher than this time last week, and up $41.00 month-on-month. MGO remained at $1009.00 pmt, an increase of $7.00 week-on-week, and $14.50 higher than January 15, 2013.
Istanbul IFO380 was unchanged at $676.50 pmt, up $7.50 since last Friday, and $25.00 higher than this time last month. MGO fell $3.50 to $1065.00 pmt, an increase of $13.50 week-on-week, and $53.50 higher than January 15, 2013.
Piraeus IFO380 was also steady at $666.50 pmt, $8.00 higher than last Friday, and up $30.50 month-on-month. LS380 climbed $5.50 to $746.50 making the premium for the low sulfur product $80.00 pmt. MGO fell $1.50 to $1036.50 pmt, an increase of $5.00 week-on-week.
