EMEA Bunker Prices Mostly Flat

Bunker prices in North and Western Europe lacked direction with movements small and mixed. Rotterdam IFO380 was down $9.50 week-on-week, while the Mediterranean and Black Sea region ended the week with some gains, and Fujairah IFO380 closed $8.00 down from last Friday.

Rotterdam IFO380 moved down for a third consecutive day this week falling $1.50 to $585.00 per metric tonne (pmt), for a week-on-week loss of $9.50, and down $63.00 over the past three months. Low sulfur 380 cSt product (LS380) moved up $5.00 to $616.00, making the premium for the low sulfur fuel $31.00 pmt. MGO was up $2.50 to $931.00 pmt, down $7.50 since last Friday, and falling $29.50 since October 30, 2012.

Fujairah IFO380 was up $0.50 to $603.00 pmt, $8.00 lower than last Friday's price, and dropping $19.00 from last month. MGO slipped $1.00 to $1018.50 pmt, down $3.00 week-on-week, and $20.50 lower than the price three months ago.

Istanbul IFO380 rose $7.00 to $619.50 pmt, losing $1.50 from last Friday, and falling $23.50 since October 30, 2012. MGO dropped $4.50 to $1000.50 pmt, down $2.00 week-on-week, but up $14.00 on the price two weeks ago.

Piraeus IFO380 moved up $4.00 to $600.50 pmt, down $6.50 from last week, and $23.50 lower than the price on October 30, 2012. LS380 climbed $5.50 to $661.50 making the premium for the Emissions Control Area (ECA) compliant fuel $61.00 pmt. MGO climbed $10.00 to $969.00 pmt for a week-on-week loss of $4.50, and up $20.50 on the price two weeks ago.
