Bunker prices were mostly trending down on Tuesday, although Ship & Bunker data showed movements in Europe were a little mixed today.

In East Asia, prices fell around $3.00 per metric tonne (pmt) for all grades, while South East Asia remained fairly flat.

Singapore IFO380 was unchanged at $633.00 pmt, but Low sulfur 380 cSt product (LS380) moved down $3.00 to $709.00 narrowing the low sulfur premium to $76.00 pmt. MGO slipped $0.50 to $919.50 pmt.

Europe and the wider EMEA region saw mixed movements today, and while there were a few exceptions, most IFO movements were $3.00 pmt or less.

Rotterdam IFO380 slipped $1.00 to $604.50 pmt, a change of $2.50 over the last two weeks and a spread of just $6.00 in that time. LS380 moved down $0.50 to $622.00 making the premium for the low sulfur grade $17.50 pmt, while MGO dropped $6.50 to $894.50 pmt.

Fujairah IFO380 was steady at $636.50 pmt today, while MGO in the port was up $3.50 to $1016.50 pmt.

Markets in South America were mostly unchanged today, but they were lower elsewhere in the Americas with most ports seeing prices drop $1.00 to $4.00 pmt.

Houston IFO380 fell $3.50 to $615.50 pmt, reversing yesterday's $3.00 gain for a change of $1.50 over the last week. LS380 moved down $4.00 to $699.00 making the premium for the Emissions Control Area (ECA) compliant fuel $83.50 pmt. MGO was down $5.50 to $1001.50 pmt, the lowest price seen for the product in Houston so far this year.
