Dubai and Houston based Endofa has told Ship & Bunker that at the end of 2012 it started its first physical bunker supply operation.

"We have been active for some time, but we have spent the last few months getting everything in place for our new operation," Allan Frost, managing partner and senior bunker trader, said in a statement on the company's website.

"We are a physical supplier and cargo trader of gasoil in West Africa, mainly from Walvis Bay and up to Congo. We also have a trading department, where we are going to be involved in worldwide trading.

"We know that the market conditions are challenging to say the least, but we have a humble approach and solid financial backing, which should allow us to find our spot in the present market," he added.

The company says it is aiming to target small shipowners through to larger entities and oil majors.
