Glander International Bunkering (GIB) today announced the internal promotion of three Bunker & Lubricant Traders in its Dubai, Mumbai, and Singapore offices, respectively.

Martin Leø - said to be one of the first candidates to join the group’s internship programme in 2014 - has been promoted to Senior Bunker/Lubricant Trader and Team Leader at the company's Dubai office.

Abhinav Chaturvedi has been promoted to Senior Bunker/Lubricant Trader and Team Leader at GIB's the Mumbai office.

Chaturvedi has been a Bunker and Lubricant trader for the group since 2015 and is said to have "played an integral role in establishing the Glander International Bunkering (India) Private Limited office."

Stuart Huang Weirong, who joined GIB's Singapore office in 2013 as Bunker and Lubricant Trader, has also been promoted to Senior Bunker/Lubricant Trader and Team Leader at that office.

"As a fast-growing bunkering firm operating in an ever-changing marketplace, it is imperative that we value our strongest assets, our staff," said GIB's recently reappointed CEO Carsten Ladekjaer.

As Ship & Bunker previously reported, Ladekjær, who was CEO at the then International Bunkering Group until June 2013, recently returned as part of a CEO shake up within several Bunker Holding companies that also saw former GIB Managing Director and CEO Christoffer Berg Lassen taking over from Henrik Zederkof as CEO of Dan-Bunkering, and Søren Høll take over Ladekjær's role in heading up KPI Bridge Oil.
