The mass flow meter (MFM) equipped bunker tanker Pink Diamond is back on the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA)'s list of licensed bunker tankers, according to the Authority's latest official records.

The addition brings the total number of licensed MPA approved bunker tankers in Singapore to 133.

Pink Diamond was one of the 135 MFM equipped vessels on MPA's list of licensed bunker tankers at the start of this year, when use of MFMs for MFO bunkering became mandatory at the port.

However, later that month, Pink Diamond was one of four vessels that came off the list, with MPA later telling Ship & Bunker that while there are now 136 bunker vessels equipped with MFMs in Singapore, the four bunker tankers in question were undergoing a change in ownership and did not have any bunker craft operator licensee appointed.

The 136th bunker tanker to gain approval was the 2,673 GT Sea Swift, owned and operated by Hong Lam Marine Pte Ltd (Hong Lam Marine), that received MPA's MFM approval for bunkering on January 3, 2017.

Pink Diamond received it's MFM approval on March 11, 2016.
